Ronnie Bass is popular as a visual artist and a talented musician. Ronnie Bass was born in 1976. He spent his childhood in Hurst, Texas. This personality completed his BFA from the University of North Texas. Ronnie was also awarded an MFA from Columbia University. Very recently, Ronnie Bass got his inclusion at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in New York. His exhibition at various places was well appreciated. Construction of the sets, composition and performance of the music for Our Land has also been materialized by Ronnie according to his own plan.

A great literary piece Our Land is purely a fiction based on societal trauma and the probabilities to overcome the odd situations. It depicts all the chances the people from laboring class may opt to make their autonomy, dreams, affluence and salvation happen in reality.

The story starts with a computer store manager along with two of his employees. All these three people have the same hobby of woodcarving. The story, written by Ronnie Bass, takes a turn when they decide to start a microchip factory. In spite of the oppression in economic and social situations, we see the people in the story finding contentment from within. At least there is a chance to escape to lead their life in own way. The story aims to teach a lesson to us to achieve peace of mind even in time of turmoil.

Ronnie Basss belief on edging religions, new inventions, social utopias and black box technologies are truly expressed in Our Land. One can find the patterns and strategies of late Capitalism in the story. Ronnie exhibited the story as a video mechanism in melodramatic form following protestant churches and businesses of North Texas.

When asked about the amount of tension regarding the complexion and nationality issues narrated in the film, Ronnie Bass said a straight no. He clarified the fact that the tension was not due to any issue regarding racism, but for the competition to achieve positions in the team.
