The Road Pulitzer Prize Winning Novel
The Road is a Pulitzer Prize winning novel written by Cormac McCarthy. Its a post-apocalyptic fiction that relates the journey of a father and son. The novel describes their long journey spanning several months over a landscape, where much of civilization and life was destroyed. It was in his imagination, through which he had once traveled and described his future views about that place.

Amartya Kumar Sen was born on 3rd November 1933 in Santiniketan, West Bengal and is an economist as well as philosopher belonging to India. He managed to get the Bank of Sweden Prize in Economic Sciences (Nobel Prize for Economics) in the year 1998 for his contributions in the field of human development theory, poverty, famine, political liberalism and welfare economics.

Christian Science Monitor Pulitzer Winning International Newspaper
The seven times Pulitzer winning international newspaper, Christian Science Monitor, was founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1908 who also established the Church of Christ, Scientist, in 1879, and has functioning bureaus in 19 countries round the world. Its print edition is out daily barring weekends and has a circulation of 71,000 with a larger online readership. Many of its reporters and editor are Christian Scientists by faith though religious affiliation is not a criterion for employment in the paper.

Jeff Koinange was born in Kenya. In 1987, at 21 years of age he quit his job as a flight attendant for Kenyan Airways and arrived at New York's Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, NY, United States between 1987 – 1989. He graduated with an Associate's degree and also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism from New York University. He started working with Kenya's first independent television channel KTN Kenya Television Network. Koinange has been a television reporter for many years, most recently serving as the Africa correspondent for CNN and CNN International from 2001 to 2007.
