Healthcare Partner is a private multispeciality medical group. It was set up on 1st April 1992. It set up when California Primary Physician and Huntington Medical Group merged together to form a greater alliance. Later, on November 10, 1992, Universal Medi-Co. joined the group.
The name Healthcare Partner was introduced on 1st September 1993. Then way back in 1994, Bay Shore Medical Group mingled with it. Gradually, it became one of the leading providers of quality care of southern California. In September 1996, Alliance of Private Practice Physician also joined it as a contributor.
Next, the Memorial medical Group amalgamated as a partner with Healthcare Partner in 1997. In 1997, Unified Physicians of the South Bay also united with it. Thats not all, in 2001, Greater Valley Medical Group unified with it to make the alliance a greater success.
In January 2005, Healthcare Partner joined with Harriman Jones Medical Group. Consequently, it became the dominant provider organization in the Long Beach area. It also became a prominent name in the society as a provider of the healthcare products.
Thereby, Healthcare Partner managed about forty medical practices and clinics in Pasadena, San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, Central Los Angeles and South Bay areas of South California. There are about five hundred physician and three thousand four hundred and fifty employees working in it. It became one of most reputed brand of medicine suppliers in the United States.
Healthcare Partner is taking care of about four lakhs patients. Beaver Medical Group, Catholic Health Care West, and Southern California Permanent Medical Group are the competitors of it. It has also designed a new website, dedicated to the supply of pharmaceutical products and healthcare products.
