Joseph Smith Religious Leader
Joseph Smith was an American religious leader. He was the founder of the Latter Day Saint Movement, also called Mormonism. According to his followers, he was the 1st Latter-day prophet whose mission was the restoration of the original Christian Church. The publication of the Book of Mormon and other new scriptures along with the establishment of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints were included as a part of his restoration efforts.
