Baby Grace Texas Child Murder

Thanksgiving holiday, this year, came with horrific news about Baby Grace and it looks like it was connected to an online video game of some sort. It has now come out that the mother of Riley Ann Sawyers, recently discovered to be Baby Grace, met her soon-to-be husband through World of War craft. To recap on this story to clear unfamiliarity, the remains of a child washed up on the shore of Galveston Bay in Texas a month ago, and investigators discovered that they belong to the child of Kimberly Trenor.

Baby Grace was abused and beaten to death by her mother and her husband, step-father Royce Clyde Ziegler II. The two are now being held in police custody. The actual cult killing most likely has no connection to the War Craft game, but speculations and investigations are at a full scale. Ultimately, the spiteful and demented couple will have to see a psychologist or two and start talking about how the virtual world cut the mother and step-father off from reality enough to commend this horrible and tenacious crime.

As told by Kimberly Trenor, it is believed that she and her husband Royce beat Baby Grace with thick leather belts the morning of July 24. They also held her head underwater in the bathtub. Then, Zeigler picked her up by her hair and threw her across the room, slamming her head into tile floor. An autopsy found that the child had three skull fractures on the back of her head. They also smothered the girl by pushing her face into a pillow into the cushions of a couch.

Trenor told investigators that, during the beating, her husband gave Baby Grace Childs pain medication and covered her with a purple towel after she was dead. That night, the couple went to a Wal-Mart store and bought the blue plastic storage container that would wash ashore on an uninhabited island in West Galveston Bay three months later. The plastic bin with the child entombed inside was kept in a storage shed in the backyard of their spring home for two months. The couple tossed the remains into the water near the Galveston.

The investigation that led to conclude that the child was murdered by Sawyers and the evidence that led to their arrest was done behind closed doors. Trenors attorney, Tom Stickler, said his client willingly went to the sheriffs office to give her statement on Friday. She and Zeigler were charged with injury to a child. Theyre being held on bonds of $350,000 each. Officers have been investigating Trenor and Zeigler since November 7, when the girls paternal grandmother, Sheryl Sawyers, called the sheriffs office after she saw a sketch of Baby Grace. News
