Funny sound effects, Cramers frequent use of Booyah etc make the show a typical but a special one.
CNBC Cramer has become synonymous with controversy. In 2000, Cramer settled a lawsuit with Fox News Channel. The channel claimed that Cramer failed to keep his promise regarding a show for them. In 2007, a 2006 interview of The Street.com created controversy after it was shown on YouTube.com. In this video, Cramer talked about activities done by the hedge fund managers in manipulating stock prices; both legal and illegal.

He also told that while in a hedge fund industry whatever he did was fair, there were illegal activities in the hedge fund industry. In 2006, Joseph Nocera commented that those who were watching and following Mad Money were fools. CNN Cramer has also authored books such as Mad Money: Watch TV, Get Rich; Real Money: Sane Investing in an Insane World; Confession of a Street Addict; You Got Screwed!
