The Ancient Greece Olympics included a set of athletic competitions held among the city-states of ancient Greece. The games began in 776 B.C in Olympia, Greece and were celebrated until 393 A.D. The Games were held at the intervals of four years and throughout its history several groups fought for control over the Games as it signified prestige and political advantage. The games were considered as one of the two central rituals in Ancient Greece, the other being the Eleusinian mysteries.

Born on October 29, 1954, Herman Frazier is currently the Athletic Director in the University of Hawaii. He is an Olympiad and was a 1976 Olympic Gold medalist for his country. He won the mens relay 4 x 400 meters for United States. He became the chef de mission in 2004 for the United States.
