American Idol Winner is the champion of the widely popular television singing competition, American idol. Getting inspired by the UK-based reality television show, Pop Idol, American Idol started airing on 11th June 2002. Created by Simon Fuller and directed by Bruce Gowers, the show is hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman.

In order to find out the best singing talent in the United States, a series of auditions takes place at various corners of the country. Ultimately, the American Idol Winner is judged through public voting. Born on 12th September 1978 in Frankfurt, Germany, the singer has released 3 albums so far. The third season American Idol Winner, Fantasia Monique Barrino, is not only a famous singer, but also a popular Broadway and television actress. Besides releasing commercially successful albums at regular intervals, this Grammy-nominated singer has also earned kudos for her role of Celie in The Color Purple.
