Valeant Pharmaceuticals International said that the patients are getting excellent results after taking the hepatitis C drug. The company had planned to out-license the compound. One of the spokesperson of the company had said that this C drug had been applied on 278 patients, over 48 weeks.

Tourettes Symptoms Might Be Treated By Mirapex A Drug Used To Treat Parkinsons A Study Continues
A multi-center clinical research study is being led by the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) to find out the effectiveness of a drug in alleviating the symptoms of the Tourette Syndrome, a neurological disorder. The drug under review is called Mirapex which can alter the chemical activity in the brain and is approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease and restless leg syndrome.
