The plot of There s Something About Mary relates the story of an awkward and shy high school boy Ted. The role was performed by Ben Stiller. Ted is in love with Mary and wants to go on a prom date with her. Mary was really a popular girl in school but the prom date ultimately turns to be a disaster for Ted facing an unusual and humiliating zipper accident. Thirteen years later, Ted discovers that, he still is in love with Mary.

In order to find her out, he appoints a private detective who though locates Mary, but gets infatuated to her. There s Something About Mary offers the audience with several hilarious incidents as the detective goes on providing Ted with several false information but about her.

The movie occupied the 27th position in the list of Americas Funniest Movies done by American Film Institute.
