Blade Trinity is the third and final film of the Blade trilogy which is based on the Marvel Comics character, Blade. The film is directed by David S.Goyer and was released in 2004. The two earlier films in the Blade trilogy are Blade and Blade II for which Goyer wrote the screenplay as well. Originally, the director of Blade II, Guillermo del Toro, was supposed to direct Trinity as well but he passed over the project to concentrate on Hellboy.
