Tiffani Thiessen Versatile Actress Cum Film Maker

Tiffani Thiessen is an immensely popular actress with versatile talent. She is an actor par excellence, having acted in the hugely popular TV serials and films. Apart from being an actress, she is also a model, writer and a film maker. She was born on 23rd January, 1974, in Orange County, California. Her birth name was Tiffany Amber Thiessen but now she is simply recognized as Tiffany Thiessen.

Tiffani Thiessens mother encouraged her towards the glamour world from a very young age. She started modeling and appeared in an advertisement for Peaches & Cream Barbie at the age of 8. She competed in many Beauty Pageants and won The Miss Junior America Pageant in 1987.

She received her first big break in the TV program Saved By the Bell as a cheerleader. She then appeared in a totally different role of a deceit vixen on the hit series Beverly Hills 90210. Her character Valorie Malone was a constant enemy of Kelly Taylor, played by Jennie Garth. In real life these two are best friends. Tiffani Thiessen foray into films did not meet with the desired result. Most of her movies including Love Stinks have been panned by the critics. In the year 2002, she did a film with Woody Allen called Hollywood Ending. She returned to small screen in 2007 with ABCs relationship drama, What About Brian. She played the role of boss of Brian and a potentially inclined love-interest of Adam.
Tiffani Thiessen turned film maker in 2005. She directed and produced a short, 21 minute film called Just Pray. The film was the first major effort from her production company, Tit 4 Tat Productions. This directorial debut of Tiffany qualified for an Oscar nomination in the category of Best Live Action Shoot of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences. The film has also made rounds of several film festivals like the 2006 Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF).
Tiffani Thiessen has a heart of gold and she is involved in lots of charities and associated with fund raising organizations like Make A Wish Foundation. She accepted an invitation in 2006, to serve on The National Advisory Council of the Make A Wish Foundation. Tiffany also campaigns for the AIDS Awareness. She wears a bracelet to raise the much needed funds for HIV/Aids care services, education and vaccine development. She has inspired at least half-a-million people to wear the bracelet.
Tiffani Thiessen is also associated with The American Cancer Societys Camp Rainbow Gold and helps the victims to forget about their illness. She says that attending the camp was life changing for her and she drew inspiration from the strength these Cancer-Stricken people.
Tiffani Thiessens father was a park designer and her mother Robyn was a home maker. She is of mixed descent of German, Greek, Turkish and Welsh. She considers her brother as the most important source of inspiration in her life. She was linked to actor Richard Ruccolo during the making of the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl and A Pizza Place in 1998. They got engaged in 2001. Later she broke her engagement to him in 2003.
