Steven Strait completed his schooling from Xavier High School that is located in the heart of New York City. He also took an extensive lesson in acting at the Stella Adler Studio. Strait worked as a model all through his teens for various magazines like L'uomo Vogue, Details, Spoon magazine, Surface, and Pop magazine. He also worked with some eminent photographers such as Bruce Weber, Herb Ritts, and Ellen von Unwerth.
In his 2001 book, All-American: Short Stories, we saw the presence of Steven Strait as Bruce Weber. Steven has always had a concern for the entertainment industry. This was the only reason that made him taking lesson from the age of eleven.
Steven Strait continued taking an active interest in acting and performing classes at the Village Community School while he was in the sixth grade. Even though he was compelled to do it at first he actually started enjoying it after his first time live performance. The Stella Adler Acting Studio and the Black Nexus Acting Studio in NYC are some of the acting schools where he performed.
Steven went out to California to follow a career in show biz after finishing his graduation form from Xavier High School (New York City) in 2004. Steven Strait did not have to wait much and he got his first role to act for. Actually, after his very first audition he got his first break and he debuted in Sky High his first movie in 2005.
In Sky High, Steven Strait performed as a bad-boy type even though he was a good guy. In the movie, he was cast as a teenage superhero named Warren Peace with the capability to shoot flames at his enemies and control fire. The film was released in July and got several positive reviews with high box office success.
For the film's soundtrack Steven Strait covered The Fixx song One Thing Leads to Another. His second movie is about to release and in this movie he has starred with other eminent actors and singers named Ashley Simpson and Pell James. The name of the movie is Undiscovered which is about young people who want to become superstars at the very first time in the entertainment industry.
Steven Strait has been cast in the role of Luke Falcon who aspired to be famous as a rock n roll star in this movie that was released in late August in the same year. As Caleb Danvers he has done most recent film role is in the film The Covenant. This film is a horror/thriller film released on September 8, 2006.
