
Born on December 11, 1944 Teri Garr is the daughter of comedian Eddie Garr and Plyllis. While Teri was still an infant her parents moved to New Jersey from Hollywood. She later graduated from a Roman Catholic High School, near her hometown. Teri lost her father when she was a young girl, and in order to earn a living her mother became a wardrobe mistress for television and movies.

She suffered another setback in December 2006, when she was diagnosed with brain aneurysm. It was her adopted daughter, who called doctors when she did not respond to the morning wake up call.In a few months time Teri Garr is known to have recovered from the disease.Her personal life has always been of turmoil with her fighting several health issues.
