He was the 118th man to fly across the Atlantic Ocean but he was the first man to do it all by himself. Popularly known as Lucky Linda and The Lone Eagle, Charles Augustus Lindbergh who is noted for the first non-stop flight in 1927 (20th-21st May) across the Atlantic from Roosevelt Field, Long Island to Paris. The plane in which he flew is the Spirit of St. Louis.
